That’s the idea behind the “Cell Phone Coop Challenge” taking place at some Chick-fil-A outposts. Hand over your phone, where it’s stuck in a “coop”, and enjoy your Chicken Biscuit or Chicken and Waffle Sandwich, sans phone. When you’re done, get an Ice Dream Cone as a reward for your good etiquette.
The Challenge was first created back in 2016 by Chick-fil-A Owner-Operator Brad Williams in Suwanee, Georgia. At his restaurant, he offered guests the opportunity to enjoy a meal without the distraction of cell phones.
