CHEROKEE COUNTY — An over 500-acre passive park is now open in northeast Cherokee County.
County and city leaders, Cherokee Recreation and Parks staff and other community members gathered at the new Yellow Creek Road Conservation Area and Trails Tuesday to celebrate the first phase of the park opening.
