The last big obstacle between Buford and the Region 8-AAAAAAA football title arrives Friday night.
The defending state and national champion faces a road trip to Mill Creek, the only region team to beat Buford since it joined the state’s largest classification in 2022. The Hawks won 31-24 in 2023.
