A new parking deck is planned for Northside Hospital Cherokee, with over 1,300 spaces.
Northside Hospital Cherokee received approval earlier this month from the Georgia Department of Community Health for a new parking deck on the hospital campus.
“The deck will have approximately 1,340 spaces for visitors and staff and will support current and future growth of the hospital’s parking demand,” Northside spokesperson Katherine Watson said. “We have filed for land disturbance permits with the city of Canton and will submit for building permits later this spring.”
The campus currently has about 1,622 deck and surface parking spaces, Watson said. When the new deck is complete, the campus will have nearly 3,000 spaces.
