Marietta Man Accused of Calling in Bomb Threats to Wellstar Cobb Hospital

A Marietta man is accused of calling in multiple bomb threats to Wellstar Cobb Hospital.

Tivory Christopher Geddie, 32, is accused of making multiple bomb threat calls to the emergency line at Wellstar Cobb Hospital, 3950 Austell Road in Austell, near the intersection of East-West Connector and Austell Road. This caused the hospital to shut down on Jan. 19 from 6:30 to 9:10 p.m., according to an arrest warrant by the Cobb County Police Department.

Geddie is charged with terroristic threats. He was arrested on Jan. 19 at 8:45 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.

Geddie remains in custody with a $4,500 bond.
