John F. King, the Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner, has reported that Alfreda Eugenia Moore is wanted. Moore, a 40-year-old Lawrenceville resident, faces charges of insurance fraud and forgery. These charges are related to a car accident on Breckenridge Boulevard in July 2022. After the accident, Moore filed a claim with her insurance company, including hospital records and billing details for treatment she allegedly received.
An investigation into Moore’s claim found that she had falsified the medical records from Northside Gwinnett Hospital. Commissioner King stated that Moore did not receive any treatment for injuries from the car accident. Additionally, the forms she submitted included information that was not hers.
Moore’s fraudulent claim sought to obtain nearly $15,000 from her insurance company. The revelation of her fraud led to the issuance of arrest warrants. These warrants were issued in Gwinnett County on February 12th, 2024.
Currently, Moore is still at large and wanted by the authorities. The Office Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire continues to protect Georgia families by ensuring access to essential insurance products and safe buildings through fair regulation.
