The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch from 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2024 for portions of central, east central, north central, northeast, northwest, southeast, and west central Georgia, including Walton, Gwinnett and numerous surrounding counties. According to the Alert issued by the NWS, flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
