A suspected armed robber is in jail after an officer with the Gwinnett County Police Department caught up to him walking along I-985 in Buford on Sept. 20. Police were alerted to an armed robbery by a motorist who claimed her uncle had just been robbed at gunpoint while he was attempting to change a tire near the Buford Drive and I-985 ramp.
