Riverfest Canceled Due to Hurricane Helene

The 40th annual Riverfest Arts and Crafts Festival scheduled for Sept. 28-29 in Canton has been canceled due concerns about Hurricane Helene’s impact on the area, the Service League of Cherokee County announced.

“The safety and well-being of our community, vendors, concessionaires, entertainers, and attendees are our top priorities, and we believe this decision is in the best interest of all involved,” said Service League President Melissa Wehunt.

The Service League said it was working to notify all affected parties.
