Rashea L. Cook, 38, of Mableton, is accused of recording the victim’s nude body with his cell phone as she began to undress before and after a massage on Sept. 17 at 2:30 p.m. at an office space at 55 Atlanta Street SE in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department.
The victim picked up Cook’s cellphone, which had been propped up on a desk, directly facing her, while the video recording was still in progress. Police met with Cook, who confessed that he had recorded the victim without her consent, according to the warrant.
Cook is charged with causing the electronic transmission of photography or video depicting nudity or sexually explicit content, a misdemeanor. He was arrested on Sept. 18 at 4:25 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.
Cook was released on a $3,500 bond.
