MARIETTA — One person is dead and another hospitalized after a Toyota Camry veered out of its lane on Powers Ferry Road, went down an embankment and crashed into a tree Wednesday evening, Cobb police report.
Police say a silver 2010 Toyota Camry, occupied by two Marietta residents, was traveling eastbound on Powers Ferry Road west of its intersection with Bonnie Glen Court at approximately 5:46 p.m. when it wrecked.
Both occupants were transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where one later died.
