CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. – An 81-year-old woman was killed Monday evening in a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Cherokee County. The crash occurred around 5:40 p.m. on Dec. 16 at Cumming Highway and Soleil Parkway. According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, a Lexus sedan traveling east on Cumming Highway attempted to turn left into the Soleil subdivision when it was struck by a westbound tractor-trailer.
