The Georgia Municipal Association has presented retiring Ball Ground City Clerk Karen Jordan with its Lifetime Service Award.
Jordan retired as Ball Ground’s city clerk Dec. 31 after 39 years of service.
She previously served as president of the Georgia Municipal Clerks Association in 2018.
The GMA Lifetime Service Award recognizes elected city officials, city managers, city clerks, and city attorneys who have completed 35 years or more of dedicated service upon leaving office or retiring.
