PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Georgia man was arrested in Priceville after officers reported he fled from officers after an attempted vehicle stop.
On Jan. 4 around 7:30 p.m., the Priceville Police Department said officers tried to make a vehicle stop on a black Mercedes-Benz S550 traveling northbound on I-65 near Mile Marker 333. The department said officers witnessed the driver commit “multiple traffic violations.”

PPD said the vehicle then “rapidly accelerated and turned off its lights. It then continued to flee exiting I-65 onto Hwy-67 S, eluding officers who lost a visual of the vehicle.”
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office then responded to help the department. The vehicle was then spotted exiting a neighborhood near Cove Creek Drive and the driver of the vehicle was pulled over.
The driver was identified as 20-year-old Tajinder Singh Mahil from Dacula, Georgia. PPD said he was then taken into custody.
