A Gainesville woman is behind bars after authorities said they found seven dogs in “deplorable” conditions at a home on Monday. Hall County Animal Services officials said an anonymous caller requested a welfare check at the home on Squires Road just off of Athens Highway. When officials arrived at around 9:00 a.m. Monday, they reportedly found the dogs tethered with no shelter or clean water.
