This week, a Marietta City Council committee advanced a proposed law targeting homeless encampments. The City Council’s Judicial Legislative Committee, consisting of council members Cheryl Richardson, Andy Morris and Andre Sims, unanimously voted to add the ordinance to the consent section at the council’s next regular meeting.
