Two suspects from Gainesville were arrested on the morning of Saturday, May 3, after officers found a stolen car right after the alleged theft.
Kevin Holbrook with the Gainesville Police Department said De’Anthony Jermaine Coley, 18, and Dorian Scott Jackson, 20, were spotted in the vehicle stolen near Collins Drive.
“They were able to get the vehicle to a safe location, a safe stop, at which point the driver ran on foot, leading officers on a foot pursuit,” Holbrook said. “Officers were able to catch the individual, take him into custody, as well as a passenger in the vehicle.”…
