Residents are invited to clear out old tech at Milton’s Electronics Recycling Event, promoting eco-friendly disposal and a tidier home. According to a recent announcement, the City of Milton is partnering with The Junkluggers, an eco-friendly junk removal service, to host the event on May 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bell Memorial Park, providing an opportunity to responsibly dispose of outdated electronics.
The electronics recycling event in Milton offers a simple, drive-through experience. Without leaving the car, The Junkluggers will take old gadgets, from vacuums to PC towers and tangled cables. Most items can be dropped off for free, making it easy to clear out outdated electronics.
However, if your tech purge includes a television or computer monitor, there is a $20 fee for the former and $10 for the latter, cash only, as reported by the City of Milton. Before bringing large appliances like refrigerators or electric ranges, note that the city is not accepting them.
