A former Park Street Elementary School special education teacher — who was fired last year for “unprofessional conduct” — has filed an employment discrimination lawsuit against the Marietta Board of Education and several other district employees.
Terrance Wilson alleges he was wrongfully terminated under the Family Medical Leave Act and while “still under supervised medical care for an illness and medical condition worsened during” his tenure in the school district.
Wilson originally filed the suit, without an attorney, in Cobb County Superior Court last fall, but it has since been removed to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia…
