PICKENS COUNTY, Ga. — Two bear cubs who were orphaned in north Georgia when their mother was shot and killed by a local resident have been resettled at a wildlife preserve in the region.
According to local officials in the Bent Tree community, the two bear cubs are now being cared for at Chestatee Wildlife Preserve in Dahlonega.
