Man hospitalized after being struck by 2 cars overnight in Marietta, police say

MARIETTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man is fighting for his life in the hospital after he was hit by two cars overnight in Marietta, according to the city’s police department.

The incident happened at the intersection of Powder Springs Street and Sandtown Road at around 11:25 p.m. Police said the pedestrian was crossing the road against the traffic sign when he was hit by a 2020 Mercedes-Benz and a 2015 Nissan.

Both drivers stopped and are cooperating with police. No charges are expected, officers said…
