White and yellow corn seems to be the dilemma at the Jasper Farmers Market. In the past couple of weeks we have been fortunate enough to have a truck load at each market. Hopefully there will be more in the next few weeks.
Penland’s surprised us all with their truck load of Red Haven peaches, bushels of half white runners and basketball size cabbages. They will not be at the market this Saturday, July 12, but they will be there for the rest of the peach season. There is a confluence of apple and peach season, so soon they will have both.
