Request to build 46 homes in southwest Cherokee tabled again

A decision on a request from a developer looking to build a 46-home conservation subdivision in the southwestern portion of Cherokee County has again been postponed, allowing for more discussion and planning.

On July 15, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to postpone a decision on a request from Grand Communities, LLC to Aug. 5. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Cherokee County Conference Center, 1130 Bluffs Parkway in Canton. It can also be viewed online at tinyurl.com/3vjc674k.
