Suwanee to Craft “Reading Grotto” Sanctuary at Town Center with Gwinnett Creativity Fund Grant

The city of Suwanee is set to cultivate a new vibe at the Town Center, as it dives into the prospect of transforming a simple walkway into a space of inspiration and repose with a “reading grotto.” This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance public spaces across Gwinnett County through art and creativity, a welcome move for a community yearning for more cultural touchstones. The grant, which amounts to $100,000, was dispersed among eight innovative projects via the Gwinnett Creativity Fund’s Placemaking Grant. Suwanee’s slice of the pie will focus on reimagining the area near the entrance to the Gwinnett County Public Library at Town Center on Main.
