ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Our heat advisories and extreme heat warnings continue across North Georgia until 8 PM, so prepare for another dangerously hot day today.
High temperatures will again climb into the mid to upper 90s under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, but feels-like temperatures will reach anywhere from 105-110°.
The second part of our First Alert Weather Day will be the increased chance for storms tonight.
A few isolated storms will pop up this afternoon and evening, which could slightly impact the evening commute, with coverage increasing after 6 PM.
