A Gwinnett County institution will soon be closing as the family that owns Skate Along USA announced last week that the roller rink would be shutting its doors forever in late August.
“To our skate family,” said a message posted on Facebook, “It is with great sadness that we must announce our closing. We would like to thank Lilburn, Gwinnett County and the worldwide skate community for over 40 wonderful years. Thank you for allowing us to be the place where you have created many skate memories.”
