L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, known near and wide for its famous “Plate Lunch,” has grown to include 231 locations – including 13 locations on the East Coast – with the recent announcement of the opening of the Mulberry store, the company’s fourth restaurant in Georgia.
The newest L&L Hawaiian Barbecue outlet, which opened in late July, is located at 3523 Braselton Hwy. in Dacula. The new 1,200-square-foot restaurant, owned by Mary and Jeff Smith, is located within the Shops at Hamilton Mill, features a warm, island-inspired décor and is open from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
“Mulberry is the kind of place where families are looking for something fresh, meaningful and full of heart,” said Mary Smith in a news release. “The timing of opening an L&L Hawaiian Barbecue couldn’t be better. There’s already demand from locals who crave island flavors – but beyond food, we want to create a space that embodies the aloha spirit, even if just for the time it takes to eat a Plate Lunch.”…
