Several big region contests were slated for Wednesday but were washed out by rains that rolled through the northeast Georgia area.
The biggest game of the day was in Region 6-3A where Dawson County trtaveled to Lumpiin County. The Lady Indians (6-1, 3-0 Region 6-3A) sat atop the standing with the Lady Tigers (7-2, 1-1 Region 6-3A) in fourth place.
Lumpiin County led 3-1 with one out in the top of the fourth when play was suspended. The game was eventually called and the two teams will have to start all over at a later date…
