A Cherokee County man known as “Cheese” has been sentenced to a little over seven years in federal prison for drug and weapons charges after authorities found methamphetamine, a large stash of guns, explosives and a moonshine still on his property.
Michael Ferrell Price, 68, also known as “Cheese,” from Ball Ground, pleaded guilty in May in federal court to possession of meth with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by an unlawful drug user.
On Aug. 21, United States District Judge Eleanor L. Ross sentenced Price to 87 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release, the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Georgia announced…
