Two young individuals from Jasper, in Pickens County, have been apprehended on allegations of throwing rocks at cars, resulting in several windshields smashed on Tuesday night. The incidents, occurring in the downtown area of Jasper, brought local law enforcement into action after receiving multiple reports. According to the FOX 5 Atlanta, officers from the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, along with Jasper police, responded to the scene at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, following reports of vehicle damage along North Main Street.
After receiving tips and descriptions of a suspect vehicle from witnesses, law enforcement officials eventually located the vehicle in question. The subsequent investigation which, included conducting interviews and gathering evidence led to the arrest of the two juvenile suspects.
