Drivers who routinely use Buford Dam Road near the southern end of Lake Lanier will have to go a little further out of the way to get to their destinations for one day next week.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced on Friday that the road will be closed for several hours on Sept. 11 so workers can repair potholes and perform guardrail maintenance and tree management along the roadway.
