Georgia State grad from Gwinnett helps solve problem at Hartsfield-Jackson airport

Thanks to a group of enterprising Georgia State University students — including Lawrenceville resident Ngoc Vu — curbside pickup at Hartsfied-Jackson International Airport is now a little less of a hassle.

During her final college semester, Vu, a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Duluth, joined a group of students in GSU’s Panthers Accelerated Career Experience (PACE) program to work with airport officials to reduce congestion and improve safety for curbside pickups.

“When I applied for PACE, there were seven projects, including the airport, that were available. It sounded very interesting and as I traveler I see lots of problems with curbside (pickup).”…
