Local ministries to collaborate to serve Hall County’s homeless population

Local ministries Good News at Noon and North Georgia Works are partnering to serve the homeless and at-risk individuals within the Gainesville-Hall County community.

The Unity Project aims to establish a Tier-1 Homeless Shelter that provides efficient access to services through other agency partnerships. As colder weather approaches, the Unity Project will renovate Good News at Noon’s ‘Set Free’ building located on Dorsey Street in Gainesville to be used to serve those in need.

The initial partnership will run through April 2026 with ongoing discussions between the two ministries on how to collaborate effectively to serve the homeless and at-risk population of the community into the future.
