The Flowery Branch City Council voted Thursday to approve a Memorandum of Understanding with a development company as a part of its “Phase 2” development of its Downtown Area.
The MOU is with Penn Hodge, LLC to help the city develop its “Old Town” to create walkable, mix-use developments within the area. Over time, the city has acquired properties near the downtown area for municipal or redevelopment purposes. The MOU provides Penn Hodge, LLC with the exclusive rights to develop those properties in one or more phases to create retail, office or residential spaces within the area.
