The Cherokee County School District has launched a new professional development program for nearly 300 teacher-leaders!
The first-ever Cherokee Instructional Leaders Cohort brings together teachers from across CCSD selected by their school’s administrators. This month, they’ve met in groups, based on grade level and subjects taught, for learning sessions focused on deep study of our CCSD Teaching & Learning Standards, further training on our new School Board-adopted instructional resources for English language arts and math using strategies, and the alignment of our School Board’s policy calling for a Cohesive System of Teaching and Learning from classroom to classroom across the district…
