GAINESVILLE, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) — Georgia lawmakers are examining what it would take to eliminate the state’s income tax as a Senate committee continues its statewide tour to gather public input.
The state Senate’s special committee on eliminating Georgia’s income tax held its third public hearing at Longstreet Café in Gainesville, hearing from residents who could be affected by the potential change.
