SUWANEE, GA — Turkuaz Mediterranean, a female-owned and operated restaurant, is now open at 2631 Peachtree Pkwy Ste 530, Suwanee, GA 30024. Owner Buhar Arda told Business Debut she is leading the concept with a hands-on approach, drawing from her extensive experience in Mediterranean cooking and baking to create an authentic Turkish dining experience that reflects both her heritage and her personal vision.
What to Expect
Turkuaz Mediterranean will feature a 50-seat dining room with table service and takeout options. Arda said her focus is on creating a welcoming space where guests feel like family. “This is my restaurant,” she told Business Debut. “I want people to feel comfortable, relaxed, and happy when they eat our food.”
The restaurant will not serve alcohol, maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere. The design centers around the color turquoise—“turkuaz” in Turkish—a symbol of calm and coastal beauty. “Turkuaz means turquoise in Turkish,” Arda said. “It’s part of our culture. We wanted that color to be everywhere so people feel the warmth and brightness of the Mediterranean.”
