Hall County will test its severe weather warning sirens at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The test is in partnership with the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency and the National Weather Service. It is part of Georgia Severe Weather Preparedness Day. The sirens will sound for about three minutes with the standard alert tone. This test is conducted every three months.
Officials state that any siren activation outside of scheduled tests should be considered a real severe weather warning. The test will be canceled if severe weather is expected in the area. Zach Brackett, Director of Hall County Emergency Management, advises residents to prepare and sign up for the Citizen’s Alert System for notifications. More information is available…..
