Cherokee County leaders have denied a rezoning request to build three office and warehouse buildings in east Cherokee.
On Nov. 4, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to deny a request from Steven Woodall to rezone close to 10 acres at 601 Hogan Pond Lane, off Highway 372, from general agriculture to light industrial.
The applicant requested to build three 20-foot-tall office and warehouse structures on the property – two would have been about 10,000 square feet and the other building would have been close to 30,000 square feet…
