Residential fire that rekindled near Flowery Branch leads to total loss of home

A residential fire east of Flowery Branch Monday night that rekindled Tuesday morning led to a total loss of the home.

Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) initially responded to the residence in the 4600 block of Guth Road at around 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Crews discovered heavy fire in the attic area. A hydrant was not available, so water had to be shuttled in.

The bulk of the fire was put out, and two adults were displaced. The residence was a total loss after the initial fire…
