Officers seize 200 pounds of meth in Cherokee County

About 200 pounds of methamphetamine were seized by authorities Monday in Cherokee County, the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad announced.

The Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, in partnership with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office, Homeland Security Investigations, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Marietta Smyrna Cobb Narcotics Unit, announced the seizure took place Monday at a storage facility in Cherokee County. The exact location was not disclosed.
