Gov. Kemp appoints former Weaver Law attorney as director of state finance authority

Governor Brian Kemp announced on Thursday that a Hoschton resident and former Weaver Law Firm associate attorney will be the next executive director for the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA).

The appointment of Trey Bennett will be in effect on Sunday.

“Marty, the girls, and I are grateful for the years of dedicated service Trey has given to my administration, and we are proud to congratulate him on this new leadership role,” Kemp said. “We look forward to his continued service as he works to ensure our state’s infrastructure assets meet the needs of hardworking Georgians and job creators.”
