A new canine-friendly development is coming to Woodstock, including a dog park, dog day care and pickleball courts.
On Nov. 17, the Woodstock City Council unanimously approved a request from Rally Yard, LLC for a conditional use permit to allow a recreational center at 7654 and 7664 Main St., at the Main Street and Ridgewalk Parkway intersection near downtown Woodstock.
The development will include a 20,721 square-foot pervious turf area for dogs, an 880 square-foot kennel area, a 2,560 square-foot commercial building and six pickleball courts. The kennel facility will be fenced in by a six-foot-tall fence and also offer dog day care services…
