Former UPS driver, Gwinnett woman accused of stealing $130K in T-Mobile phones in package theft scheme

WALTON COUNTY, Ga. — A Walton County grand jury has indicted a former UPS driver and a Snellville woman accused of conspiring to steal more than $130,000 in T-Mobile phones, watches and accessories in a months-long scheme that state prosecutors say was carried out through organized retail theft and racketeering.

On Oct. 31, the Attorney General’s Organized Retail Crime Unit presented the case, resulting in indictments against Ivan Stewart, 32, of Atlanta, and Charline Gatlin, 28, of Snellville.

Stewart faces two counts of violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). Gatlin faces two counts of RICO and two counts of theft by receiving stolen property…
