Juan Quintana and Erika Gonzalez were inspired to open Taco Social — Ball Ground’s newest restaurant, — by the recipes of Gonzalez’s Mexican grandmother.
The husband-and-wife-team greeted their first customers on Nov. 11 in the downtown space formerly occupied by Sunrise on Main, a breakfast café.
“This has been a long time coming for us,” Quintana said. “We both worked in restaurants for a long time, and with our kids getting older, we decided, this is the time to have the family business we’ve dreamed of.”…
