The Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia has named Kelly Anne Miles the 2026 Gainesville Woman of Distinction.
The title recognizes a woman whose leadership and service reflects the Girl Scout Promise and Law and make her an outstanding role model for current Girl Scouts and the broader community.
“Miles, a nationally respected family law attorney, has dedicated more than 40 years advocating for Georgia families both inside and outside the courtroom,” A press release from the organization said. “Beyond her professional accomplishments, she has invested deeply in strengthening the Gainesville-Hall County community.”
According to the organization, Miles is a founding member of WomenSource, Inc. and has served on the boards of many other civic and community organizations, including United Way of Hall County, Girls Incorporated of Northeast Georgia, North Georgia Community Foundation, Rape Response, Inc., Gateway House Domestic Violence Shelter, and Elachee Nature Science Center…
