ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Several families lost their homes on Thursday afternoon after a fire broke out at a Buford apartment building, according to firefighters.
Crews were called to Plantation Ridge Apartments off Level Creek Road at around 3:45 p.m., where they found the fire spreading across a three-story building. The residents evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
