Dylan Raiola just watched his younger brother do what he couldn’t at Nebraska: finish on top. Dayton Raiola led Buford High School to a perfect 15-0 season and a state championship in Georgia’s highest division.
Their mom posted about it on Saturday on Instagram, and both brothers commented. Yvonne Garrigan Raiola didn’t hold back in her post about Dayton’s championship run. Buford beat Carrollton 28-21 on December 17 to claim the GHSA Class 6A title. The Wolves became the first Buford team to go undefeated at this level.
“When people doubted you, you silenced the noise, stayed focused, worked harder, and overcame every obstacle in your path,” she wrote.
