A longtime Hall County planning commissioner and current candidate for Hall County Commission District 3 has now issued a statement amid allegations he and other planning commissioners violated the Georgia Open Meetings Act.
Stan Hunt issued the statement on social media Friday morning, asserting that he did not violate Georgia law.
“I did exactly what a Planning Commissioner is supposed to do…plan,” Hunt said. “I never broke the law. Period.”
The statement comes two days after a hearing was held at the Hall County Government Center to present evidence from a Buford law firm’s investigation into the allegations against Hunt, Planning Commission Chairman Chris Braswell, and Planning Commissioner Frank Sosebee.
