With Christmas 2025 now in the history books, Gwinnett families who opted for a live Christmas tree this year are probably wondering one thing: what do I do with this thing now?
The answer, according to Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful, is simple. You recycle it — or “treecycle” it as they like to put it.
The environmental group kicked off its annual Bring One for the Chipper on Friday. Gwinnett families are encouraged to bring their used live Christmas tree to one of several fire stations serving as drop off sites by Jan. 21, 2026, so the tree can be put into a wood chipper and turned into mulch for public spaces…
